Transactions and Settlement Designer Developer
Purpose of the Position
The “Cards and Transactions” team of the Issuance Division is responsible for the project management of issues relating to the management of card contracts and the life of card supports, as well as the management of card transactions and the settlement of these card transactions.
The Transactions and Settlement Designer Developer will be responsible for devising and implementing the expected changes in the applications managed by Transactions and Settlement (transaction management and settlement preparation, taking into account authorisations, disputes and fraud, regulatory changes, scheme guidelines, new products, etc.), reporting to the manager responsible for these applications. He/she will also conduct testing, roll-out, monitoring, incident management and user support activities.
The solution is based on a SOPRA BANKING SOFTWARE package and on developments introduced by TRANSACTIS. Activities cover the entire scope: integration of the software package and production.
Level of qualifications/Experience
*Level of qualifications: 4/5 years of higher education desirable
*Experience: 3 to 5 years in designing and developing IS solutions. Knowledge of the banking sector and the integration of software packages would be a plus
Description of the main responsibilities
Within the “Cards and Transactions” team of the Issuance Division, you are responsible for the analysis and development of Transactions and Settlement applications, reporting to the manager responsible for these applications:
*Helping draft the framing document (technical solution and impacts, estimating project owner workload)
*Preparing general and detailed specification files
*Completion of the deliverables
*Tests (unit, integration with the software package, as well as support for functional acceptance testing)
*Creating documents relating to this work
*Executing production launch through to stabilisation after production launch
*Estimating the workload of the projects affected
*Deputising for the applications manager in his/her absence
